Quickzee Rules & Scoring
Objective: Be the player with the highest total score after all scoring categories have been filled.
Gameplay
- The game is for two players (Player 1 vs. Player 2 or Player 1 vs. Computer).
- Players take turns rolling four dice.
- On your turn, you can roll the dice up to three times.
- After your first and second rolls, you can click on dice to "hold" them. Held dice will not be re-rolled on subsequent rolls within that turn. Click a held die again to un-hold it.
- After your rolls are complete (or if you choose to score earlier), you must select an available category on the scoreboard to record your score for that turn.
- If your dice do not qualify for the chosen category, you score 0 for that category. Choose wisely!
- Each scoring category can only be used once per player.
Scoring Categories
- Full Straight (40 points + sum of dice): Four dice in sequential order (e.g., 1-2-3-4, 2-3-4-5, or 3-4-5-6).
- Double Pair (30 points + sum of dice): Two different pairs of dice (e.g., 2-2-5-5). A 4 of a Kind also counts for the base 30 points for Double Pair.
- 3 of a Kind (20 points + sum of dice): At least three dice showing the same number (e.g., 4-4-4-1).
- 3 of a Kind High (25 points + sum of dice): Three dice showing the same number, with the fourth die being a larger number than the three matching dice (e.g., 2-2-2-5 qualifies, but 5-5-5-2 does not).
- 4 of a Kind (50 points + sum of dice): All four dice showing the same number (e.g., 6-6-6-6).
- Garbage (Sum of dice): Any combination of dice. The score is the sum of all four dice. This category can only be used once per player.
